We had the same friend group and at first I just liked him as a friend. Then one day we where hanging out and we started flirting so I thought could there be something more? So the same day I asked John ( my crushes best friend and my friend) what he thought of me telling my crush how I felt about him and his responce was " Well I dont know if he likes anyone so its safer not to tell him." Yes of course I was bummed that the boy I liked probably didnt like me and it was probably the WORST advice I had ever taken. So for the remainder of the summer we just hung out as friends. A few days after moving I had already made friends and I told them the story and they had convinced me to text him and tell him. What did I have to lose anyways its not like I would ever see him again.
